Pastor David Butts was born into a Christian family, raised in church and Sunday School, and received Christ as his Savior at the age of 7. Bro David graduated from Florida Baptist College with a BA Degree, and also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Brasov Baptist Institute. After Bible College Bro David was pastor of 3 churches in Central Florida until he went to Romania as a Missionary in 1990.
In Romania, the Lord used Bro David to plant 14 churches in the central area in and around the city of Brasov. During the 22 years in Romania the ministry saw over 35,000 Professions of Faith in Jesus Christ. All of the ministries there continue to grow and touch lives.
In 2012, Pastor David returned to the U.S., and accepted a Chaplain position with Kindred Hospice. Pastor David continued in that ministry for 9 1/2 years. In 2018 Kendrick Baptist Church called Pastor David to be their Pastor. We are excited about the new chapter that has begun and look forward to what God is going to do in and through Kendrick Baptist Church.
JEFF WHITE - WORSHIP LEADER
Brother Jeff's mission as worship leader is to proclaim the gospel of Christ and minister to others through music. For 25 years Jeff has used his voice and talents on keyboard and guitar to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ and to encourage others to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord".
Music and songs have been an integral part of worship since the earliest days of the Old Testament, and it is still true today. A blend of contemporary hymns and songs are used to give inspiration and help keep our hearts and minds on Jesus Christ throughout the week.
